This Food Thing is Great

Spot

We finally had internet set up, so we are back to posting! Jack has been sleeping with this little doggie stuffed animal/blanket that we've named (very originally) Spot. It's very cute to see him snuggle with it. The picture with his eyes closed is the first night he had it. He clung to it in his sleep. The second is after he woke up from a nap!

Taking a Walk

We went for a walk yesterday and promptly got stranded outside of our apartment when the key broke off in the lock! AAAHH! Good thing Rich is handy, he fixed it pretty quickly!

Urban Baby

We had a great day in New York on Thursday. Jack was a real champ with the subway and Metropolitan Museum of Art. It's definitely more work to get around with a baby, but thankfully Rich took care of most of the heavy lifting and negotiating! Jack really wanted to try our yummy pizza, but he's not ready for that just yet!

70s Baby

We think Jack looked like a 70s baby in his mod outfit yesterday. It must have been the red corduroy pants. By the way, I know I look pregnant in our family picture, but I assure you I'm not! I don't know why I look like that!!!

We tried to get a nice family picture. We used the self timer, but it was set on 2 seconds, which really isn't long enough to get settled as you can see!

Squeaky Clean

Peas

So I think Jack likes peas - he did yesterday, but not so much today. We'll see how he does with them tomorrow. If not, I made him some applesauce which tastes pretty yummy, if I do say so myself. And, like Daddy says, he wouldn't be a Wenner if he didn't like apples! And, I noticed some fat rolls on his knees tonight which was a first!

Exercise!

We borrowed an "exersaucer" from some friends and Jack really seems to enjoy it. I thought he might need some new hanging out spots, he's getting too active for laying on the floor, sitting in his swing or cuddling in our arms all the time.
