Gettin' the Hang of It

Jack is just starting to work on crawling. Still not moving forward, but he's moving in circles and backwards! You can see his one knee up and ready to spring, but not quite yet!

Messy Eater

Meal time is becoming increasingly messy as you can see! For breakfast, you see scrambled eggs on Jack's tray and blueberry peach oatmeal on his face. For lunch, we tried some shredded Jack cheese (how apropos) and yogurt. The hardest part is wiping him off...he HATES it!

Thursday

Here we are getting ready for, and enjoying ourselves at, the park! Daddy parked Jack in the mulch, which he promptly and continuously tried to eat!

Playing

Jack loves playing and is very good at amusing himself. Earlier today he went from happy as a clam to pouty to crying and back...aahhh...the trials and tribulations of being a baby! He likes his frog toy that the Easter Bunny brought, but the continual "ribbits" drive Mommy a little crazy!

Cheerios!

Jack's learning to eat Cheerios, slowly but surely. He's mastered the art of picking them up, but has a hard time actually getting them in to his mouth!

Grammy Nicholais

It was great seeing Auntie Kim and Grammy Nicholais...she makes a mean lasagna! I chowed down on that stuff!

Easter Morning

Jack woke up happy and playful as always today. Daddy got up very early and went to sunrise service, while we also got up early, but hung out in bed! At least until 7, which is late by Wenner family standards!

Happy Easter, everyone! Jack looked very snappy in his seersucker suit, if I do say so myself! He was a little crabby and super drooly today, so we're wondering if the Easter Bunny brought him another round of teething!

Jack and Daddy fell asleep together on the couch last night...precious! And this morning, Jack kept trying to eat his tie!
