Jack Barrett enjoyed a lovely bath this morning. He's doing wonderfully and is loking handsome as ever! Today we are taking him shopping so daddy can get some new ties!

Jack says hello to all of his friends! We are having a nice time snuggling and relaxing on this rainy Friday. Jack had a good time getting the know the Fetchinson's the other night, he thought Mr. Bob was way cool!

Jack in the Jungle!

We took a little blogging break...sorry to all of Jack's loyal fans! He had a great weekend. On Saturday, he got to know his cousin Emma a little better. He really, really loves her and is hoping to take her on a date next Saturday. He's thinking about asking her to catch a Baby Einstein movie and share a bottle or two. We'll see how that works out. ..We've already worked out the details of the arranged marriage, but figure we'll let them think it happened naturally!! Sunday he went to church and was a (mostly!) very good little boy...he knew God was watching him so he didn't want to mess around! This morning, he's enjoying his rainforest jungle swing, I think. That or he's scared silly (I can't tell!). Today we're heading to Dr. Chi, the world's best kid doctor, to get weighed!

Family Time

Last night we made an apple pie...Jack loved it. He ate so many apples, we had to tape his mouth shut! We also took lots of "family photos..." Mommy is obsessed with getting a good one of the three of us (I think we'll need Aunt Kim's help on that!). Today we are going to visit Daddy at work for Diane's birthday and to have some of that gorgeous pie! Yum!

Thursday Morning

Jack is having a pretty good day. He slept for a very long time last night after having a semi-atomic meltdown around midnight. I might vote for a nightly bout of hysteria if it results in a nice, extended period of sleep! This morning he's his usual sleepy self and loved his walk outside. He can be very serious, as you can see!

Fashion Advisor

Jack is daddy's stylist - he liks to help pick out ties! This was yesterday and he chose a nice blue and yellow striped classic! He had fun visiting his great grandmother Emmy yesterday...he enjoyed his cheese steak for sure (oh wait, that was mommy!).

Crybaby!

Jack was a bit of a grumpy pants today! It seems like he was either nursing, sleeping or crying! Oh well, we all have our days! Now he's happy as a clam, sleeping on daddy!

Sleepyhead!

This pretty much sums up Jack's day! Lots of snoozing and relaxing. We did take a nice long walk and visited with Teddy, Teresa, Liz and Grandma Wenner for lunch. Jack smiled at me today, and I've been trying all day to catch it in a picture for you!

Cool Dude

Like my awesome new shoes from Aunt Liz? I am such a cool dude. I had fun hanging out with my aunts and uncles this weekend!

Bath Time!

I had a bath this morning. I'm not sure you can consider me 100% clean since I pee-peed in the tub! Ha ha! That's what I think of bath time!

Big Boy Crib

I slept in my big boy crib last night and did quite well with it! Mommy and Daddy wrapped me up like a burrito, and I seemed to like that. I only got up twice to have a snack, so I know that my parents feel pretty darned good this morning! When I got up, I had a bath...I think Daddy recorded some of it, so I'll show you!

Number One Baby

That's what Dr. Chi called Jack at his one month appointment today. He gained another 8 ounces this week and is now at 7 pounds, 8 ounces. We had a busy day of shopping and laundry and are looking forward to going to bed (at least mommy is...hopefully Jack is on the same page tonight!).

Beary Nice Gifts!

Well I got to meet my Uncle Teddy and he sure is nice! He brought me all of these nice gifts - my first blonde teddy bear and my very own bear book. Plus some neat washcloth puppets to wash me when I am stinky! Soon I will get to meet Aunts Teresa and Liz and I'm excited about that!

Wiggle Worm

Jack is resting peacefully...As you can see, he has a way of wiggling around in his sleep! His head started off where his hat remains. He lifts his legs up, like a worm, and shifts all over the place. Pretty impressive! And he slept in the bassinet last night with no upset, so no more car seat! He's one step closer to going in his own crib and giving mommy and daddy their room back!

Priceless

Well we got our first medical bill today! We really aren't sure how much we'll owe for our bundle of joy, but we think he's worth it!!! Today is Daddy's first day at his new job and we miss him lots already!!
