I love these pyjamas!

They were a gift from Aunt Ronnie, and I just think he looks so cute and elfy in them! Rich cracks up and says they make him look like he has big clown feet...

Mad

Jack was mad at me for trying to get him to take a nap. He wouldn't look at me or smile when I tried to take his picture. Oh well, guess I'm the big bad Mommy. I think he's looking a little bit plumper these days. At the rate he's going with the food, he's going to get chubby yet! Right now he's sucking and chewing on my wrist - yuck! It tickles! I just fed him, so I doubt he's hungry!

Green Beans

Green beans were also a hit! And they match his high chair quite nicely, don't you think? They look kind of snotty coming out of his nose like that though!

Happy Baby

Jack is such a happy little guy...until I wipe his nose!!

Teething

Dr. Chi said Jack was teething, and today I believe it! He was crabby and was jamming his fingers in his mouth to chew on. When I put him under his little floor toy, he kept arranging it so the foot was in his mouth! He missed his mouth a few times, as you can see here!

Banana Eater

Here he is...the banana eater himself! Jack's been gobbling down his cereal, and yesterday we gave put some banana in it for the first time - his first "real" food. He definitely liked it and has been eating really well.

I Found My Feet

Jack has discovered his feet and is enjoying playing with them immensely!

Cereal

Jack has been enjoying his cereal lately. As before, I'm still inconsistent with giving it to him. Once in a while I get inspired, but I know I have to start trying every day. I'm relishing every last moment of his infanthood! Dr. Chi says he is teething, too! He's growing up so fast!!!

Poor Little Guy

Rich and I are keeping our eye on our poor little guy, who has his very first cold...as evidenced by the snot bubble and glassy eyes you see here. :(

Workin' On It!

I'm trying to get Jack to practice sitting up. He's doing pretty well, but can't stay up for too long. He looks so cute and grown up though when sits up on his own! It cracks me up when he topples over - good thing he has the "mommy net" to catch him!

Ah-bbb

Jack really like making the "bbbb" sound, as you can see!

Baby It's Cold Outside

We stayed warm though, even in this freezing cold weather!

Hanging Out

We had some nice play time tonight, followed by a feeding, the usual spitting up and snuggling!

Cereal

We have been giving Jack cereal once in a while, though it's not "required" until 6 months. I admit that I don't want him to grow up and eat "big boy" food, so I haven't been doing it much. We did set up his high chair, which looks enormous, as you can see! He seems to enjoy playing with the spoon more than eating the cereal...

Mmmm....Salt!

Apparently, Jack likes salt. Rich and I have been putting different foods to his lips just to let him taste things...he usually makes an awful face (similar to the bottle face!), but he really seems to like SALT! Rich says "He's a real Wenner!"

Screw That!

Jack Barrett just refuses to take a bottle! This started a little over a week ago (not that we try that often) and so I tried again today with my milk and formula. No go...Guess he'll just have to go hungry when mommy's not around! He wouldn't even let the bottle get close to his mouth!

Hello Again!

We are back to blogging for 2009! The computer still has a few quirks, but it's mostly fixed (we hope!). I am just going to post some pictures from the last few days and save most of the Christmas pictures for Shutterfly!
